Herstory1991

In 1991, I brought to life a new Fantasy World. Cruella. What started as a simple novella soon evolved into something much greater. I began capturing this darkly seductive universe through photography, and before long, my very first magazine was born.

Throughout the 1990s, I continued to expand my vision, launching a variety of groundbreaking publications. It all began with Cruella, my original concept, but soon I introduced Goddess, Victoria, Domina-Nation, Riding-Cult, Less-Dommes, and Mistress Files. Each title carved out its own place in the FemDom scene, captivating readers and becoming some of the most sought-after and widely distributed magazines of their genre.

Below, you’ll find the front covers of these international publications, printed in the UK, distributed worldwide, and still remembered as iconic works that helped shape the industry.

Over the years, my work has centered around exploring unique narratives of powerful, commanding women, resulting in two distinct yet complementary publications: Cruella and Goddess. While they share a core theme of showcasing female dominance, their conceptual foundations and the worlds they explore are vastly different. Here’s a detailed look at how these two publications diverge and what makes each one unique.

The first magazine I published was Cruella. Cruella is complete and wild fantasy, an imagined world which has taken a very dark path in which females rule the world completely. As such, it cannot feature more ‘real-life’ scenarios. So I created another publication called GODDESS to cater for these themes.

Cruella is by it’s very nature more cruel, evil and sadistic. Goddess is quite different. So you have a choice, whichever you prefer; both feature women in command, yet the ultimate outcome for males can be quite different!

Cruella: A Dark Fantasy World Beyond Reality

Cruella is a journey into an alternate dimension, a universe far removed from our own reality. It is pure fantasy, a world where female supremacy reigns absolute, and the societal structure is entirely rewritten. In this realm, powerful women hold the reins of authority, dominating every aspect of life with unparalleled cruelty and sadism. Men exist solely as tools—valued only for their utility and discarded when they outlive their usefulness.

This world is defined by its extremity and detachment from real-world limitations. The women of Cruella—whether they are aristocrats, scientists, or equestrian trainers—exert a level of control that transcends the boundaries of our reality. The characters are larger than life, their actions driven by a merciless pursuit of power and self-indulgence. Everything in Cruella is heightened: the drama, the cruelty, and the scale of dominance. It exists purely as a creation of the imagination, a place where no rules of the modern world apply, allowing readers to explore the darkest corners of female authority in a fictional setting.

Goddess: Rooted in Reality and Everyday Fantasies

By contrast, Goddess bridges the gap between fantasy and the everyday realities of our world. It takes inspiration from the scenarios and archetypes that exist in our daily lives, transforming them into compelling narratives of female dominance. This publication delves into familiar power dynamics, such as the demanding boss at work, the arrogant police officer, the cold and calculating step-sister, or the stern, unforgiving aunt. Whether inspired by real stories or imaginative takes on modern life, Goddess reflects the kind of scenarios that readers might recognize from their own lives or dreams.

Here, the focus is not on an entirely fictional world but rather on amplifying and dramatizing the power dynamics that already exist around us. The characters in Goddess are grounded—they live in our reality, bound by the rules of modern society but still managing to wield immense power and control in their unique ways. The publication explores fantasies that feel immediate and relatable while still allowing readers to escape into a world of heightened emotion and drama.

Why Two Worlds?

The creation of these two separate publications was essential to distinguish between the extreme fantasy of Cruella and the grounded yet imaginative stories of Goddess. While Cruella offers a place to indulge in an alternate reality where women dominate with absolute authority, Goddess serves those who are fascinated by stories that feel closer to home, inspired by everyday experiences and societal structures.

This distinction also allowed me to explore a broader spectrum of themes and narratives. Cruella is unrestrained, delving into an otherworldly domain where morality and societal norms are irrelevant. Meanwhile, Goddess brings a different kind of thrill—one rooted in the tantalizing possibility that these power dynamics could be unfolding in the office, the streets, or even behind closed doors.

For Readers of Both Worlds

Together, Cruella and Goddess provide a comprehensive exploration of female dominance, catering to a wide range of interests and imaginations. Whether you’re drawn to the limitless cruelty and grandeur of Cruella or the relatable, modern power plays of Goddess, these publications invite you to immerse yourself in narratives that celebrate commanding women in their fullest form.

For fans of Cruella, the stories remain a pure escape into an alternative universe, a safe space to explore the darkest aspects of power without real-world implications. For those intrigued by Goddess, the tales offer a mirror to our reality, reflecting the ways in which dominance manifests in everyday life.

Each title stands alone in its vision, but together, they form a tapestry of stories that highlight the multifaceted nature of female strength, authority, and allure.
